Podsumowanie

Zarówno żywe, jak i inaktywowane bakterie probiotyczne mogą stanowić metodę zapobiegania i kontroli chorób u zwierząt domowych (26). Probiotyki, prebiotyki i paraprobiotyki są skuteczne w zwalczaniu infekcji jelitowych u psów i kotów oraz mogą być metodą wsparcia terapii u pacjentów z IBD i PChN, alergią, otyłością i nowotworami (3, 21-25).
