Endometroza u klaczy – aktualne problemy
Streszczenie
Zmiany prowadzące do zmniejszenia płodności u klaczy nasilają się wraz z wiekiem. Do tej grupy należy endometroza, czyli zwyrodnienie błony śluzowej macicy związane z mniejszą produkcją substancji odżywczych dla zarodka. Poza wiekiem nie stwierdzono innych predyspozycji, a przyczyny i dokładna patogeneza endometrozy są nieznane. Ze względu na niejasną patogenezę dostępne obecnie metody terapeutyczne mają niewielką skuteczność, a stosowanie niektórych może wiązać się z ryzykiem dalszego obniżenia płodności. Obecnie trwają badania dotyczące patogenezy, diagnostyki i możliwości terapeutycznych endometrozy, co podkreśla istotność i aktualność problemu.

Abstract
The probability of developing changes leading to decreased mare’s fertility is growing with the animal’s age. One of those diseases is endometrosis, i.e. the degeneration of the uterine mucosa, accompanied by the lower production of the nutrients for the foetus. No predispositions were found, except age, while its etiology and exact pathogenesis remain unknown. Due to that fact the available therapeutic methods are not efficient and the use of some of them might carry the risk of further fertility decrease. Currently the pathogenesis, diagnostics and therapeutic methods of endometrosis have been investigated, which corresponds to the relevance of the problem for the mares’ health.
