Streszczenie

Anomalia Ebsteina (EA, ang. Ebstein’s anomaly) jest wadą wrodzoną serca. Jej istotę stanowi nieprawidłowa budowa zastawki trójdzielnej. Jeden lub dwa płatki tej zastawki przemieszczone są w kierunku koniuszka do jamy prawej komory. Choroba jest diagnozowana u psów różnych ras, jednak najczęściej występuje u psów rasy golden retriever i labrador retriever. Udowodniono u nich rodzinny charakter choroby, związany z dziedziczeniem autosomalnym dominującym. Artykuł przedstawia przebieg schorzenia na przykładzie dwóch psów rasy golden retriver.

Abstract

Ebstein’s anomaly (EA) is a congenital heart defect. Its essence is an abnormal structure of the tricuspid valve. One or two leaflets of this valve are displaced towards the apex of the right ventricular cavity. The disease is diagnosed in dogs of various breeds, but most often occurs in golden retriever and labrador retriever dogs. It has been proven that the disease has a familial nature in them, associated with autosomal dominant inheritance. The article presents the course of the disease using the example of two golden retriever dogs.
