Streszczenie
Zaburzenia lękowe u psów i kotów stanowią jeden z najczęściej występujących problemów behawioralnych. Leczenie zaburzeń związanych z lękiem jest długotrwałym procesem składającym się z trzech elementów: terapii behawioralnej, modyfikacji środowiska i farmakoterapii. Tylko łączne zastosowanie tych trzech elementów przynosi trwałą poprawę, dlatego zarówno lęk, jak i fobie wymagają łącznej interwencji behawiorysty oraz lekarza weterynarii.

Abstract
Anxiety disorders in dogs and cats is one of the most common behavioral problems. The treatment of anxiety-related disorders is a lengthy process involving three stages: behavioral therapy, environmental modification and pharmacotherapy. Only the combined use of these three brings lasting improvement, therefore, both anxiety and phobias require a joint intervention of a behaviorist and a veterinarian.
